Ikechukwu Kanu
Ikechukwu Anthony KANU, O.S.A is an Augustinian and a Professor of African
Philosophy, Tansian University, and a tenured Professor of African Theology and Orthodox Studies at the University of America, San Francisco, USA. And the former Rector of Villanova Polytechnic, Imesi Ile, Osun State. He is currently a Visiting Professor to Veritas University Abuja, the Federal University of Jos, Plateau State, the Augustinian Institute, Makurdi and Saint Albert the Great Major Seminary, Abeokuta.
He is the founder and President of the Association for the Promotion of African Studies (APAS) and the Global President of the World Cultural Studies Research Association (WCRA). He is a member of the Governing Council of Veritas University Abuja and a Governing Board member of the Theological Institute of Consecrated Life in Africa (TICLA). He is the proponent of Igwebuike philosophy which focuses on the thermodynamic dimension of the African transformative ontology. Professor Kanu has First Class, bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from the Urbaniana University, Rome; a First Class, Bachelors Degree in Theology from the University of Jos. He has a Master’s Degree in Metaphysics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; a second Masters Degree in African Traditional Religion from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka; and another Masters’s in Education (Higher Institution Administration).
In addition, he holds a Ph.D. in African Philosophy from Selinus University of Sciences and Literature, London; a second Ph.D. in African Traditional Religion from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, and a Post-graduate Diploma in Education from the National Open University of Nigeria. Professor Kanu has to his credit more than 250 journal articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals, more than 250 papers presented in national and international conferences; he has written and edited more than 70 books and about 50 papers published as chapters in peer-reviewed books.
He is the Editor-in-Chief of several Journals and a member of the editorial boards of more than 50 international and national journals. He is one of the few scholars from Africa who were invited by the prestigious Harvard University, Cambridge for her First International Conference on Ecological Spiritualities. Kanu hails from Arondizuogu, a center of ancient civilization.
Peter Aziba
Professor Aziba trained as a student technologist in the Laboratory Technology Training School, University of Ibadan 1975 -1994. In 1982, he was appointed a Technologist and rose to the rank of Principal Technologist. His work schedule included organizing and demonstrating Basic Pharmacological Practical /Techniques to Bachelor, Medical, and Pharmacy students in the Laboratory. This exposed me to virtually most of the skills and techniques in Basic Pharmacology Experiments (In-vitro and In-vivo techniques).
In addition, during this period, he was engaged in Academic studies at the postgraduate level in Pharmacology, leading to a fellowship award, Master’s, and Doctorate Degrees in Pharmacology with an emphasis on Autonomic Nervous system Pharmacology.
In 1995, after almost twenty years in Laboratory, he was appointed Lecturer at the Ogun State University, now Olabisi Onabanjo University, where he worked for Twenty years except for the period 2004-2008, when he was invited to work as Senior Research fellow, at the University of Swaziland in Southern Africa.
Gloria "Gigi" Mander, Treasurer
Gigi Mander, Treasurer, has enjoyed working with various small business and non profit organizations since 2000. She focuses on increasing productivity, profitability and cost efficiency for each every entity. With over 20 years of experience in the finance, accounting, and marketing, she has been working with industries ranging from Fortune 500 corporations, large international entities, medium-sized companies and non-profit organizations
Her specialty is growing the financial aspects of businesses whereby she draws on her skills in management consulting, business development, marketing, and local and international sales. Additionally, Gigi Mander has worked with architects and engineers on large-scale housing projects and arranged financing/funding for various industrial and real estate enterprises. Her international experience includes collaborating on the marketing plan for a multi-million-dollar mixed-use complex in Dubai, consisting of 5-star hotels, office space, retail, housing and recreational facilities.

While overseeing EZWON’s daily financial and administrative matters, Gigi Mander continues to collaborate on local and international development projects focusing on education and green sustainable environments.
Gigi Mander has a B.S. in Hospitality Management from St. Scholastica’s College; a Certificate in Project Management from Turner School, SBDA, NYSERDA; and a Certificate in Fundamentals of Financial Services (Series 6 and 63 Licenses) from Life Underwriters Training Council. She lived in Asia and Europe before settling in NYC and still enjoys traveling very much.
